Our Response to COVID-19

Your Care Made a Difference in 2020

When you spend your career in consumer goods, most people think your favorite memories come from catchy marketing campaigns or big innovation launches. While I’ve certainly experienced my fair share of those exciting memories, I can tell you the best part of being in this business is knowing the great people that make it all happen.

If this year has proven anything, it’s that we must be especially grateful for those who keep themselves and each other safe, healthy and focused on making essentials. People like Marshell in North Carolina, Lindiwe in South Africa or Andrey in Russia.

These are just three of the thousands of essential heroes at Kimberly-Clark’s manufacturing, distribution and service facilities around the world. Your care ensures the world has the products it relies on every day. You make comfort, health and dignity possible for billions of consumers each day. You empower women and girls and create essential sanitation solutions that the world will never again take for granted.

To all our teams around the world, the thing I’ve missed most about this year is visiting you – the people whose hands and hearts make better lives, and a better world, possible.

To me, 2020 will always be much more than a year marked by COVID-19. It will be a year where we saw the people who never sought the spotlight step into it and shine. You are the very best part of what we do, and I’m proud to be, just like you, a K-Cer.
